As a DM I was too lax my first time and now I've found the way to do this but honestly the rule of cool is way more important to me than RAW. If your player or players come up with something unique or weird or something totally bizarre like....within reason, as long as it doesn't break the whole game? Why the hell not? Let people have fun! That's the whole point of the game!

I have watched their and Abriya's DM roundtable so so many times. The genius. All beautifully inventive and learned in their own ways. All different ways of storytelling. All do bathroom time. lol I love them each and all together the brilliance is unmatched.

My favorite DM I ever had would give out your character’s signature BA homebrewed magic item early in your adventuring career. He just didn’t like the idea of giving it towards the higher levels, because he thought that you should be able to use it through out your adventures, not just for the last few encounters.

OKAY OKAY OKAY I'll start watching C3 again!!! If anything is gonna get me to start watching, IT'S THIS. So unbelievably hyped!!!! And while I'm probably not going to start the main campaign off from the episode I stopped watching, this next full like month and a half will at least give me time to catch up on the last few CR eps (and a bunch more this channel's recap vids) so I have more context once we're back to following BH's. Between this and the new Dimension20 season coming out, July is going to have such awesome dnd content.

Completely agree with you about this weeks worlds beyond number. It made me go back and re-listen to parts of earlier episodes and now I’ve got to re-listen to it as well. And speaking of Ginni Di, she just did a video on the updated DnD bard class, which was really good. Actually, can highly recommend all of her videos, that’s so exciting that you got to see her in person even if you didn’t talk to her.

Our DM let us get creative when planning for a fight against an opponent that was WAY too high level for us to fight fair. Level 3s vs vampire that broke off from an undead army to fight us. Sooo we doused the building we were in in oil, set it up to burn down, and one of our Palis (we have 3, send help) decided to draw a holy symbol on the ground in chalk. DM let him roll prayer when the vampire stepped on it, and the god responded by setting the symbol ablaze. Helped balance the encounter, and didn't feel like he was pulling a punch since we did the set up even if it wasn't RAW

i don't think Ludinus has seen the memories, maybe it will have him question his beliefs

Just watched the Episode and loved it. However, the Dominox was kind of disappointing. This was probably due to time constraints. It was teased as this insane grand demon powering a god killing machine and not even one person even had to make death saves?

Time to catch up on CR! 15 episodes in 3 weeks isn't THAT bad.

Sam being back has taken the wind out of the story-line. How many episodes until we see Robbie leaving again? Sam's character is just going to get in the way, like normal. Hopefully he gets killed quickly. Add to that, Brennan's take over of this story line, now we have all the elements needed for a total collapse of Critical Role. A bad player and a worse DM = destruction of the Critical Role story line. I guess after 8 years the series needs to end somehow.
